This summer has been a crazy mix of family activities and different kinds of work, much to the detriment of my newsletter, video channels, etc. But hey, I still have plenty of updates for ya, so let’s get into it...
General Updates
If you follow me on Instagram, by now I’m sure you’re aware that I finished my run of figures from the Ewoks TV movies. I did 8 figures (including a giant Gorax!) from Caravan of Courage, and 6 figures from Battle for Endor. All of them are now available through my Etsy shop AND Cults3d page.
I have released 3 new batches of figures based on Andor Season 2, and still have have 3 MORE batches planned (including figures from Rogue One as well). Still plugging away at those, mixing in other non-Andor figures as I go. More on that below…
The good news is that I have some really interesting commission jobs going right now - the bad news is that I can’t talk about them…at least not yet!
Recent Releases
Andor! As mentioned above, 3 new batches of Andor figures are now available, and breaking with my past routine…I’ve released both printed figures AND files to download and print yourself at the same time. Something unique about the latest batch is that it features a great collaboration - I wanted to make the “Alien Grandma” character from the hospital scenes, but was struggling with the geometry of her floating chair. Fortunately, my pal Charveys3d stepped up and did an amazing job! So you can get this figure/chair combo from either one of us.
Coming Up Next
First up is a batch of alternate Tusken Raiders. I’ve been asked so many times to make some variants of the original Kenner Tuskens for peoples’ displays, and I’m happy to have finally gotten around to doing some. There will be probably 4-5 new male variations and a couple of lady Tuskens also. Other designers have done a great job on the Tuskens from Book of Boba Fett, so I’m not doing those…but hopefully they’ll all look great together!
After that, I’m happy to say that I’m tackling Dragonriders of the Styx! That series has been often-requested, and recently I had the privileged of being able to scan an entire set of the original figures. I’m excited to get them all cleaned up about out into the wild!
They look even more incredible in person!
